Fairy Tale Yarn Company is here for the week and has brought some magical skeins! Dawn, the dyer from West Virginia, is inspired by the whimsical stories and imagination from being a child. These two skeins above are named "Gumdrop Forest" and "Crystal Fire." 

Fairy Tale Yarn Co. puts on a podcast where Dawn talks about project ideas, products Dawn loves, and other tricks of the trade. You can find her podcaston her website.

New Knit Along

Starting soon in March, Cindy will host a Knit Along of the Long Lace Shawl-Collared Vest

The vest is knit from the bottom up, includes cables, and short row shaping. 

The KAL will be held around our big round table, giving people plenty of space to knit. 

This is a 5 session KAL, on March 1, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Read more and sign up here.

Tulips in the Desert Class

Learn how to knit stranded colorwork in this 3-session sock class with Cindy! The Tulip in the Desert socks, by Arella Seaton, are cute and refreshing.

Sørine Slippers Class

The Sorine Slippers are a great introduction into the world of color-work, and slipper shaping. 

This is a 3 session class, on March 16th, March 23, and 30th from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Learn how to knit The Dashes and Dots Cowl in this 2 session class, on March 27th, and April 3rd from 11:00am-1:00am.

Next weekend is the Sip and Shear event at Kerry Hill Winery! So far, the weather report is telling us clear skies and warmer days on the 27th--perfect conditions for a little fiber festival.  

Bring the family, and bring your projects! There will be the opportunity to relax, sip on a beverage, and sit under heaters outside. Join our FB event here

The Saturday after Sip and Shear is our annual Yarn Buy Back, where you can donate the yarn you no longer want and receive in-store-credit, Ewe Bucks! The Yarn Buy Back is all day on March 6th. Also on the 6th is the deadline for our Warmth of Fiber Contest! Get those entries in soon!
