On the First Day of Christmas My True Love Gave to Me...

98 pounds of wool that I need!

Twisted staff, Kalli and Natalia, arm wrestling to win the title

"Queen of the Yarn Ball"

But seriously, this big ball is not going to fit under the tree. However, I know some other goodies that will.

We are kicking off our annual 12 Days of Christmas by featuring some of our local favorites!

First we want to highlight these locally made wooden gauge rulers and Idaho signs from Taylor's Mark!

Did you know that the artist behind the company Taylor's Mark is actually Kalli's dad? (Yes I'm talking about the wicked good knitter and crocheter in the photo above)

Every knitter needs a gauge ruler, and these ones are durable, gorgeous, and most importantly, locally made.

Now, onto local yarns. I can never get enough of Jessica's yarns from Knitting Nomad!

Jessica was the previous store manager of the Twisted Ewe, and now she dyes yarn and makes pottery under her business My Restless Art in Bend, Oregon.

Jessica's yarns are bright and beautiful. We carry her lace weight silk and BFL wool blend, along with her SW merino worsted.

If you are into more natural fibers, we have un-dyed alpaca from a CulVer Alpaca LLC Farms.

The colors are named after each alpaca. Grace, Dante and Tempest have some beautiful fibers that would be lovely to knit, crochet, or weave with.

Hand-dyed in Boise, Acid Veil Dye Works has some gorgeous colorways in a SW merino fingering weight. We also carry their colorway made exclusively for the Twisted Ewe!

Just a friendly reminder that our products are listed online and in-store. However, some products are found in-store only. Check store for product availability.
