Angora hair or Angora fiber refers to the downy coat produced by the Angora rabbit. While the names of the source animals are similar, Angora fiber is distinct from mohair, which comes from the Angora goat. Angora fibre is also distinct from cashmere, which comes from the cashmere goat.
Yarns with a higher Angora content will have greater halos— a soft aura of yarn around the core that provides a gentle cloud of color. Great for open stitch work, be sure to give your Angora room to bloom!
