Salad2String artist Leah Hintz is a sixth generation Idaho native and a life-long crafter. She loves putting an artist's twist on these bowls and pours many hours into them.
Leah collects vintage wooden bowls from thrift stores in poor condition. She up-cycles the bowls by stripping their coating, sanding the surface, painting, and finishing. Every bowl is unique and one-of-a-kind.
An avid knitter, Leah saw a need for a stylish yet durable yarn bowl. This sparked the creation of Salad2String!
Although they are not food safe, these specialty bowls can be used as a yarn bowl and hold multiple skeins at once.
