This baby sweater is made in one piece with seams at the shoulders. This class will include learning how to read a pattern and increasing / decreasing.

You will learn how to make buttonholes and finishing techniques.

This is a 3 session class starting Monday, May 17, 24, & 31 from 12-2pm

Supplies:

Pattern purchased on Ravelry here or in store. 

Size 8-24” circular needles

Worsted weight yarn 400 yards 

Markers

What will happen in each session:

Session 1: Going over the pattern and casting on. Placing markers, going over the increase stitches.

Session 2: Working on Increases and Button holes

Session3: Seamingand finishing edges

Pattern Intro:  The jacket is knitted back and forth in Garter stitch, then cleverly folded and completed by weaving the shoulder seams.

Gauge Notes: 5 stitches = 1 inch in garter stitch

 

COVID-19 precautions: We will follow COVID-19 precautions in this class. We ask that wear a mask, wash your hands upon arrival, and sit at least 6 skeins (feet) from each other and your teacher.

Seats are limited to 6 participants (not including teacher) to maximize social distancing.
