Beginning Knitting Workshop 2/25

Learn the foundation of knitting at our beginner's workshop! In a 2-hour session, you will learn the basics of knitting at your own pace. You will leave class with the skills needed to make many types of projects. 

You can expect an easy-going and supportive environment. Our knitting instructors will provide you with patient instruction and encourage your growth!  

When: Saturday, February 25th from 2-4pm

Skills Learned: Cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off, information about different yarn weights, fiber types, and knitting resources. Students may not reach all skills in one workshop, but workshops are repeatable for more practice. 

Skills Required: An open mind! 

Please come to class prepared with the following materials: 

- 1 skein worsted or bulky weight yarn, wound into a ball (we recommend the Ella Rae Classic Wool , Blue Sky Fiber's Woolstock, or Cascade 128 Superwash--do yourself a favor and pick a lighter color!)

- US size 8 - 10 knitting needles (we recommend using 32" circular needles!)
