Crochet Bucket Hat 6/5

Want to take your beginning crochet know-how to the next level, and create a sweet accessory for a kiddo in the process? In this 2-hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of crochet-in-the-round, leading to simple hat construction. From here you'll have what you need to tackle many bigger crochet projects! 

 

If you'd like to take this class and aren't yet familiar with single crochet, we recommend also signing up for our Beginning Crochet on May 25th, or schedule a Private Lesson with us beforehand.

When: Sunday, June 5th // 12:30 - 2:30pm

Skills Needed: Students need to be comfortable with single crochet 

Skills Learned: Magic ring, changing yarn color, and pattern-reading

 Please come to class prepared with the following materials: 

- A size G (4mm) crochet hook preferred, but 4.5mm will also work! 

- We'll be using worsted-weight cotton yarn for this one--at least 120 yards for main color, 16 yards of contrasting color 1, and 8 yards of contrasting color 2.  We recommend using Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme.

- Sun and Sand Bucket Hat Pattern (purchase on Ravelry here)

- Tapestry needle (bent tip preferred)
