Grandmother's Original Dishcloth 6/18

Regular price $50.00

Only 8 items in stock!
Practice the basics of knitting and learn how to make the "Grandmother's Original Dishcloth," knitted by thousands of folks across the decades! In this class, we'll knit and finish a smaller version of the pattern using yarn provided by the instructor. After class, you can make the full-sized version on your own.

This class is beginner-friendly, with caveats. For a true beginner, we might recommend taking one of our Beginning Knitting Workshops in advance of this class so that you can hit the ground running with your dishcloth. If you're quick to learn handcrafts, though, or relearning knitting after time away, you're welcome to enroll as-is!

When: Saturday, June 18th // 11:30am - 2pm

Skills Learned: Knit stitch, increases, and decreases

Skills Required: Ideally students should have some familiarity with the knit stitch, or, if not, feel confident about their ability to pick it up quickly.

Please come to class prepared with the following materials:

- US size 6 knitting needles (if using circular, we recommend 24")

- Yarn (Ella Rae Superwash Classic) and pattern will be provided in class

Instructor: Natalia

All students will receive 10% off materials purchased for class. Please come to class 10-15 minutes early if you need to purchase supplies:)

Handmade sweaters and hats will last generations if made with the right materials.

Your talented stitching (beginner’s included) deserves to be supported with quality fibers and the right tools!
