
Intro to Crochet: Scarf 2/18
Regular price $45.00Great for beginners! This class is for those interested in learning the art of crochet. You will learn basic crochet stitches, discover how yarn and hooks work with each other, and see how a bit of yarn can transpose into something useful or decorative. Holding the yarn to create a consistent tension is as important as the hand holding the hook. You will come away with a perfect bulky scarf.
When: Saturday, February 18th from 11:30-1:30pm
Skills Needed: No previous experience required!
Skills Learned: Crochet stitches, pattern reading, how to manage a hook and tension
Please come to class prepared with the following materials:
- Free Pattern: Single, Double, Triple Scarf by Marinda Lariz
- 1 ball of Chunky Cashmereno or any worsted or
bulky weight yarn
- Crochet hook size G, H,or I
Note: Worsted weight yarn uses a G (4.00mm), H (4.5mm), or 4.75mm hook. Bulky weight yarn uses 5.5mm – 6.00mm.
