Learn to Make Felted Soaps - Jan. 17th 12:30-1:30pm
Felted soap is a bar of soap wrapped in wool. The thin wool coat helps soap last longer, makes the slippery bars easier to hang on to, is gently exfoliating, and can replace a washcloth or bath pouf in the shower. Once the soap is all used up, you can then compost the wool! It's zero waste!
This is a 1 session class, on January 17th from 12:30-1:30pm.
Natalia will teach you all the steps to make these soaps, including wrapping, felting, and drying!
You will need to bring one or two bars of soap. Any bar of soap will work. If you need to pick some up on you way to the Twisted Ewe, we recommend buying locally made soaps available at Root's Zero Waste Market or North End Organic Nursery! We provide the fiber and other supplies. All you need is your sense of adventure and creativity.
We will follow COVID-19 precautions in this class. We ask that you properly wear a mask, and seating will be spaced out.
Seats are limited to 4 students and the instructor to maximize social distancing.
*If you have longer hair, we recommend pulling it back, since your hands will be very soapy the whole hour.
Please let us know if you have any questions about this class!
