Macrame Plant Hanger
Macramé is making a comeback in the 2020s with wall hangers, planters, bedspreads, and many other decorative items.
Macramé is a form of textile art using knots. This class starts with an introduction to the history of macramé, then teaches you several basic knotting techniques. Practice these knots by making a plant hanger in class. Once the project is finished, you'll be able to do almost any macramé project!
When: Sunday August 1st from 1-2:30pm.
Skills Learned: Basic macramé knots used in almost all macramé projects.
Skills Needed: No experience required, only a willingness to make mistakes.
Materials: Please bring a small plant and a pair of sharp scissors. Cotton cord and beads are provided.
I love art. All of it. My mother was a great artist and taught me so much. I enjoy the process of art. It seems to me that mistakes help us learn. It's the journey AND the destination :)
